Wendy Akins, Referral Coordinator
Wendy joined Bulloch Pediatrics in June 2021. She is married to Joseph and they have four children. Wendy enjoys working in her church, spending time with family and friends, and going to the beach.
Pamela Rakestraw, Medical Records Coordinator
Pamela has been with Bulloch Pediatrics since 2022. She has an amazing son named Kaison. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking and crossword puzzles.
Tiffany Roberts, Medical Receptionist
Tiffany has been with Bulloch Pediatrics since July 2012. She works as a medical receptionist at our check-in window. Tiffany is married and has two children. In her spare time, Tiffany likes to spend time and travel with family.
Melanie Silvia, Billing Specialist
Melanie has been with Bulloch Pediatrics since September 2006. She began working as a Medical Receptionist and has since become our Billing Specialist. She has 2 wonderful children (a son and daughter) and 3 dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys going swimming and spending time with family and friends. Melanie believes in providing excellent customer service and takes pride in going the extra mile to help get things done.
Heather Whitlock, Practice Manager
A proud University of Georgia Double Dawg (BA ’97, MPA ’99), Heather started her career in the healthcare field in 1999 at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where she worked for 3 years. Heather also worked for the Carl Vinson Institute of Government for 10 years doing Human Resources consulting for local governments throughout the United States. When not helping to manage Bulloch Pediatrics, you can find Heather watching her daughters dance or at their school functions. She and her husband, Dr. Austin Whitlock, are the proud parents of three daughters.
