Are you an airline frequent flier? If so, you’re probably well aware of the many advantages to checking in online or via a mobile device up to 24 hours before your flight. For the most part, checking in prior to arriving at the airport saves time, hassle and headaches. Plus, if you are traveling with young children in tow, anything that reduces the stress of air travel is welcome.
Did you know we offer this same type of convenience for your child’s visits to our office? Our electronic pre-visit check-in system, Phreesia, enables parents to complete the check-in process in the privacy of their own home and/or device prior to arriving in the office.
How does our pre-visit check-in service work?
You’ll receive an email and text from our office. This message will contain all the paperwork needed for the upcoming visit. All you have to do is fill everything out and you’ll be all set.
Now, instead of having to come into our office early to fill out paperwork via the PhreesiaPad (which can sometimes take 10+ minutes for health checks), it’s all taken care of when you arrive. We will simply check you in upon your arrival at our office.
Another advantage of the pre-visit check-in process is that it allows you to be thorough. You’ll have the opportunity to fill out the necessary information for an upcoming visit privately and on your own time, (without the distractions of a busy waiting room or a fussy/bored child!). This means you are less likely to leave anything out; especially those things you really want your child’s doctor to know about.
We understand how valuable your time is. The pre-visit check-in process saves our patients and their parents a ton of time and greatly speeds up their movement through our office. And this gives you and your child the time to do more of what matters to you.
